On the day you turned 3…
On the day that you turned three,We made your hand print for you to see
Just how much you had grown, since the day that you were born.
We looked into the mirror,
To see how BIG that you are now.
We took a picture for your baby book,
And practiced saying THREE.
We measured just how tall you are,
And put you on the scale.
37 inches tall today, and 28 lbs, Hooray!
We sang you Happy Birthday, and celebrated with a cake
We let you dress yourself today, oh the outfit that you made!
We asked you what you wanted to be
When you were all grown up like Daddy,
A RACE CAR Driver is what you said, as you raced around the house!
Before we tucked you into bed, we said a little prayer,
For you to have the best year yet, and enjoy all that you discover.
